AOL BOOMBOX: Diddy Snags Teen Choice Noms for 'Get Him to the Greek'

Diddy's hilarious roll in the film 'Get Him to the Greek' not only entertained moviegoers but snagged him a few Teen Choice Awards nominations as well. The hip-hop mogul, who played an over-the-top music executive in the film, earned nominations in the Best Fight, Scene Stealer and Best Hissy Fit Categories. Additionally, Diddy was nominated in the Celebrity Fashion Line category for his Sean John clothing line, where he will face off against musical counterparts Justin Timberlake and Gwen Stefani.

In an effort to rally votes, the Bad Boy executive sent a message to the more than 2 million followers he has via Twitter. "IF YOU LIKE ME IN 'GET HIM TO THE GREEK,' VOTE FOR ME NOW," he wrote in all caps. I GOT 3 NOMINATIONS!!!!! VOTE." The film, which opened at No. 2 at the box office in early June, grossed a solid $17.5 million and has gone on to make over $80 million worldwide.

On the music side of things, the 40-year-old and his group Dirty Money are nominated in the Best Rap/Hip-Hop category. The group will also take the stage for a performance. The Teen Choice Awards air on Fox Monday, August 9, at 8 p.m EST.

Our favorite bros from Queens are coming back to HBO for the seventh season of 'Entourage' and, as usual, producers are planning some big time cameos for the popular Hollywood show. The new season will sport an appearance from none other than Diddy, who joins the ranks of Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Kanye West and other hip-hop royalty who have made cameos on the program. Series creator Doug Ellin also confirmed appearances from Lenny Kravitz, Mike Tyson, Jessica Simpson, John Stamos and the show's executive producer Mark Wahlberg.

The Diddy appearance will come during what's sure to be a quixotic quest for actor Jerry Ferrara under his Turtle guise. The character's storyline throughout the season involves starting a new business and all the ups and downs that come with trying to rustle up the big investments necessary to achieve success in a luxury town. Ferrara is slated to encounter Diddy and Wahlberg on a golf course as he tries to get his funds up.

SO WE ARRIVED AT THE AIRPORT AND OUR PLANE WAS LATE SO I WAS A LITTLE WORRIED ABOUT IF WE WERE GOING TO MAKE OUR SHOW FOR LE GRAND JOURNAL! WHEW I WAS WORRIED, SO AS WE SAT IN THE AIRPORT ON OUR WAY TO PARIS I BEGAN TO TALK WITH A FRENCH LADY WITH THE CUTEST YORKIE AND GUESS WHAT SHE DIDNT SPEAK A LICK OF ENGLISH.

BUT BEING THE FACT IM SO UNIVERSAL WE USED SIGN LANGUAGE AND "DAWN'S" BROKEN FRENCH TO GET BY I CANT LIE "D" DID HER THING SO WE GAINED A FRENCH FAN AND FRIEND BEFORE WE EVEN GOT ON THE PLANE.

WE PERFORMED ON LIVE RADIO THAT WAS SICK I LOVED IT WE "DIRTY MONEY" KILLED IT !! AOL'S THE BOOMBOX KNOWS WHERE TO GO FOR 4th OF JULY WEEKEND!

Always one to be concerned about our holiday plans, Diddy decided to step it up and take over Atlantic City for July 4th weekend this year. The unavoidable mogul and his Dirty Money crew will be performing their first official full length concert on July 3 at the House of Blues' Showboat venue in the popular northeast vacation spot.

"We have a big, big, big announcement," said Diddy in a video that served as a press release. "We have a special 4th of July weekend. A lot of you don't know what to do 4th of July weekend. On July 3rd, that night, get in your car and take a little ride out to Atlantic City out to the Showboat, House of Blues at the Showboat, and you can see us perform live -- our first concert. It's not just a concert. It's a party. Funkmaster Flex is gonna be on the 1s and 2s. You know how a Diddy party goes."

The event, one in a long line of traditional Diddy holiday parties, should be heavy on material that comes out on the group's 'Last Train to Paris.' Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.

"Our tour's not even up yet," Diddy continued. "We just wanted to do a special thing -- a vibe, a connection, a little thing. You know nobody do shows like us. We actually dance, work up a sweat, sing to you and tell a story."
